Client Needs List

Porchlight deeply appreciates the items that people donate for our clients to use. Our current needs include:

Items Accepted and Picked Up by Porchlight Staff

• Electric ranges that are not more than 5 years old
• Twin, full and queen-size mattresses and box springs
• Twin, full and queen-size bed frames
• Kitchen tables and chairs
• Dressers

Items Accepted Only When Delivered by the Donor
Drop-Offs are accepted at 1490 Martin Street in Madison, from
9:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday.  Call ahead at 258-4840 or 257-2534.

• Clothing
• Microwave ovens
• Small appliances (e.g., clocks, blenders, power tools, etc.)
• Lamps
• Televisions
• Small dorm-style refrigerators
• Non-perishable food
• Furniture: Book shelves, end tables, couches, recliners
• Sheets, blankets and bath towels
• Toys
• Disposable diapers
• Toiletries

Items Not Accepted At All

• Laundry Machines (washing and drying)
• Air Conditioners
• Refrigerators (residential)
• Lawn mowers
• Vacuum cleaners
• Desks
• Computers and computer monitors
• Recliner-couches and hide-a-beds
• Surplus building materials and supplies
• Futon beds
• Baby cribs
• Child car seats
