Madison Cares
Madison Cares is an initiative from Porchlight to raise funds to build housing and provide services for homeless people with mental illness.
Through our Safe Haven program, Porchlight has successfully served homeless people suffering from serious mental illness for over a decade. Our area's economic climate combined with the large number returning veterans is increasing the demand for these services. Porchlight has launched Madison Cares to take the bold step of building two new buildings to accommodate our area's increasing need.

Stable affordable housing combined with critical support services is a proven model to reduce homelessness. This project will ensure that homeless people in our area will have a place to go and a pathway out of homelessness.
